We actually ended up here at the last minute because we went out to celebrate my husband's birthday after he and his co-workers/friends got off work and it turns out the original location we planned to go to stopped serving food at 9 pm. This place appeared to be pretty packed, which is always a good sign. They had a live band, which was nice, except for the fact that they were so loud it was a little hard to talk at first. But they didn't play the whole time we were there. I had a great margarita (a couple of them) and my husband enjoyed his bloody mary prepared by the manager. Our server was super friendly and helpful and we enjoyed talking to her (Red aka Buu Buu). It took her a little while to get our first drink orders, but she was finishing up with some other customers. After that, we had her all to ourselves, and she was very good at checking on us and making recommendations.
Everyone enjoyed their meals, and of course chips and salsa were served. However, the mild salsa tasted like straight-up tomato sauce. And the spicy was too hot for me. But, I found that a little bit of the spicy mixed in with the mild made a perfect blend.
I would recommend checking out Ramior's if you find yourself near Frankfort Ave in Louisville.
