The rooms are very, very clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathtub and toilet are separate from the sink/vanity, which I like, but the overall bathroom space is small. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast area was maintained well--clean, well stocked, all items you might need. The room had a microwave and a fridge, which I love! The only issue I had was with the neighborhood the hotel is located in--it is very close to the airport and the expo center, but it does not feel very safe. There are no restaurants or stores close by that one might need or want on a trip.

This was our 3rd Group trip to Louisville for an annual softball tournament and 1st stay at this La Quinta. Overall it was a great 2-night stay for our 2 teams. We were accommodated for 16 rooms, Beds are pretty firm to sleep on and all rooms seemed to be updated and the hospitality suite as well. The pool was a little warm but clean and the breakfast was a good start to our day, especially when Ms.Vicki was around. If you werent smiling she would put one there just by talking to you. Thanks for making our stay welcome and when we return to Louisville we will come back..

I have stayed here many time recentelly...have been checking in around 200pm and out at midnight...very nice rooms ...great beds ..quiet ..freindly people...good price around $90.00 or less...parking is not the greatest for a semi but besides that its a great place to stay...I highly recommend this place..

I stayed on la Quinta after staying at the SpingHill suites since my flight got cancelled. Overall my experience with this hotel was good. The room was clean and was spacious. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also good. I do not give it an excellent review due to the following reasons: (1) my room looked outdated , (2) the shuttle service will take you only to and from the airport (I was told it was due to the insurance, I needed to visit a pharmacy so I took a cab, which the staff was kind enough to contact for me).

Found this hotel on a discount website and was nervous that the price was so low, but once we got there was dumbfounded. This hotel has everything... the room was very spacious. It had the toilet/shower separate from the sink area so someone could be in the shower and someone else @ the sink getting dressed. The "kitchen" area had a sink, refridgerator, microwave and cabinets (to store food). The room we had overlooked the pool (didn't get to try it out though). The breakfast was awesome (had eggs, waffles, fruits, cereals, sausage-gravy & biscuits, breads (muffins & bagels, etc). Ms. Vicki is the hostess of the breakfast area and she will get you everything that you could possibly need. All of the staff was soooo helpful. They gave us directions, got us coupons for stuff we wanted to go see, anything that we needed. They are also about ~8 minutes from the Zoo and maybe 10-15 minutes to downtown. You can't ask for anything better. This was our first trip to Louisville and we are already planning another trip to the area and will definitely be staying at this hotel again. You cannot go wrong with this hotel. It is close to the airport but you do not get alot of noise. We were there for a whole weekend and only heard 2 planes and that was during the day, never heard one at night & I am a very light sleeper (especially since I have a hubby that sounds like a train when he snores)

Room Tip: We stayed on the 1st floor which was nice. Room 124. The zoo is so worth checking out and the hotel...

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was wonderful. Vicki takes care of the breakfast and is just GREAT!! All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We selected this hotel as our midway point from Michigan to Memphis two weeks ago due to the great TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The reviews are not too good to be true, they are simply true.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Brittani, general manager Terri Smith, and Miss Linda. They handled our needs, but more importantly, lavished our other family member, our pup, with attention each time we walked through.

We always try to select La Quinta in our travels because they are pet-friendly. We'd not typically have chosen a hotel near an airport, but this one so impressed us with both staff and overall cleanliness, that we booked a room for our return trip a few days later, and were greeted like beloved family members returning home.

Perhaps most impressive was how the staff handled a situation beyond their control, when tornado warnings were issued throughout the night of our return trip, and power was knocked out in the area by the storms. After having already worked a full day, Terri Smith came back to the hotel to assist in getting emergency lighting running, making necessary phone calls, and making certain that all guests had flashlights, and stayed for several hours, until power had been restored about 2-1/2 hours later. All of the guests seemed to appreciate the situation as they gathered in the lobby area.

All La Quintas should follow the management style executed by Terri Smith at the Airport & Expo La Quinta Inn & Suites, Louisville. Thank you!
