My family had a terrible experience at the Plush? embassy suites. Management treated us like dirt from the moment we checked in. The rate that was quoted was $89. When we arrived, they told us there was a convention in town and we would have to pay $149. The manager would not help us in any way. The breakfast was so crowded you couldn't get near it and the pool is only big enough for 10 pp.

nice complimentary happy hour and breakfast. very helpful staff. there is shuttle servive available. there is a computer with internet access in the lobby.

Stayed seven nights in Oct, 2003, with my wife. My daughter and two grandchildren joined us for three nights in an adjacent room. Staff very helpful, especially during "happy hour" in preparing exotic non-alcoholic drinks for the kids. With free breakfast and an indoor pool, it is a "mini-resort" for kids. Also located near the many restaurants on Hurstbourne Lane.

Our family of four stayed 7 nights at the Embassy Suites Louisville. The hotel is beautiful and our room was always clean. The buffet breakfast was very good each morning, and the staff was especially cordial. The hotel is in a great location, only minutes from all major attractions and lots of great restaurants. We always stay in Embassy Suites when we travel because we can always count on top quality accomodations and service, and with the indoor pools, we always have something for the children to do, even on rainy days. Our only complaint with this property was that the indoor pool was TOO SMALL! This is a 6 story, 4 star hotel, but the pool was so small that there was a sign posted above the pool that said the maximum capacity was 5 people!!! And that anyone breaking this rule was subject to a $100 fine!!! We were disappointed with this because we like to swim WITH our children, but they often had to wait for a "Turn" to swim themselves. We have just never seen anything like this at any other Embassy Suites, and did not use the pool nightly like we normally would.
