Absolutely the worst hotel staff I have ever encountered.
I skipped the house keeping service, opting to clean my own room because I had my dogs with me and wanted to ensure their safety by reducing the amount of foot traffic coming in and out. Literally half of my stay I was unable to get a king sized sheet for the bed. The night attendant, Marco, was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a customer service position. One night I simply concluded, after three trips to get a sheet from him at the front desk, that he was playing jokes on me by giving me the wrong sized sheet and I just gave up. The last night of our stay, at approximately 4:00 pm I called and informed him the toilet in the room had stopped working and asked if he would send someone to repair it. He was quick to toot the "There's no one here but me" horn and offered only to move us to another room. Well, after a week in the room, with four dogs, a mini kitchen, an office set up, and clothes and personal items for two people, I being alone in the room at that point, simply offered to stay where we were and to use the facilities downstairs when nature called. You can imagine my horror when just such an event occurred and I found myself in the downstairs facilities empty of tissue and a hand towel dispenser that was jammed to the point of being inoperable. Fortunately my finance is extremely handy and upon his return he was able to return the toilet in our room to its normal working state.
The next morning, after having already cleared this with the property general manager, I called the front desk about extending our stay another few nights as a result of last minutes business. The young man who took my call told me that would not be possible, that the hotel was sold out. I explained to him the conversation I had with the GM, to which he hemmed and hawed and eventually told me I had to be out of the room by check out time. I questioned whether he had the option of instructing me to leave, to which he replied that if I were not out of the room by check out time he was calling the police. I was literally taken aback, and simply asked him to have the GM call me. While waiting for that return call I began gathering my things, and went to the front desk to check on the possibility of extending my stay and to get a copy of my invoice. The GM was there and was very quick to explain to me that they had called the police; the police had been on property and were it not for a more urgent call placed to them they would have been at my room door.
I could go on and give further examples of other problems we encountered at this property but just trust me: DON'T STAY HERE.
