“If you like architecture be sure to visit Old Louisville.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

If you want to take a tour of a specific home, or a guided tour of the neighborhood- be sure to check the hours ahead of time. They are only given a couple of times a day and we just missed it. That being said, we took our own walking tour and the homes are lovely. Louisville should be proud to have preserved these architectural treasurers. PS. Louisville is a clean and well maintained town- very little litter and no obvious graffitti. Solme other cities could take a lesson here.

“Largest Collection of Victorian Homes of any neighborhood in America.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Absolutely eye-popping. First go the the Old Louisville Visitor's Center on Fourth Street and get ideas on specific places to stay and to visit. Bring you iPhone(or better yet, your iPad) and download the Old Louisville App which will suggest various tours and give you information about hundreds of homes that you will pass. A great App and a gr=at neighborhood.

“Historic, beautiful drive”

We took an evening drive in Old Louisville, seeing all of the old homes and mansions was great. They were very beautiful and fun to enjoy on a cool crisp evening. Highly recommend taking a drive down there.

“Enjoyed driving around”

We drove through the Old Louisville streets, just looking at the historic architecture. Unique old buildings are very interesting and different in many aspects. Good way to spend an hour.
