“Great Location Very Clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2011

London

Hotel was very nice. Check in quick, staff pleasant. Exit is close to the hiway. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was out of order. They have cereal, bagels tea, coffee for breakfast. Very pet friendly and pets stay free (1 per room I think) White Castle burgers is close enough to walk to. I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms smelled and looked very clean. Slept very well. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Continental breakfast was big with waffles, cereal, biscuits & gravy, juices, etc. Would definately recommend this to other travelers.

Very nice and only $50/night. Very quiet, I didn't hear any traffic from the interstate in my room. Everything was very clean and modern. I will definitely stay here again on future trips. It is a little hard to find once you exit the interstate, but worth stopping at the gas station and asking.

Choose this hotel because of Indoor pool "january" Asked the clerk if pool was warm she said yes very nice. Before we unpacked we went and checked out pool it was freezing. I questioned the desk clerk about a refund she said she would have to charge us a cleaning fee even though we had not even ruffled a towel. Room was extremely basic, old and dark with 25 watt bulbs. Ice machine was out of order. The one up side was it was fairly clean what you could see of it. You would not have to look hard in the area to find a better hotel for the money. Corbin next town on I-75 has some very nice places were your children won't turn blue in the pool.

I stayed here on business and walked-in (no prior reservation), but still felt welcomed. The price was great (~$50 before tax for business king package, which includes fax service and other business perks).

This motel offers:
free continental breakfast
24/7 coffee/ hot cocoa/ machine lattes/ mochas
free wi-fi
close proximity to restaurants
basic cable TV
standard beds
clean bathrooms
nice lobby area
(I didn't check on the pool or other ammenities)

The breakfast went quick, due to the large numbers of Christmas travelers (I stayed on December 22), so I went out for breakfast at Starbucks (located at the next I-75 exit south). From what I saw, it was the doughnut/ bagle/ cereal breakfast. There is a waffle house 2 blocks away, however, should you want some diner food.

This Red Roof Inn is definitely a step up from normal Red Roofs. It's a newer location, built within the past 10 years, although it has the older Red Roof Inn signage. Rooms are accessed via interior hallways, the entire property has free wireless (don't have to fool with T-Mobile) and there's an indoor pool (no hot tub) and fitness room. They even have a small breakfast with a waffle maker and sausage gravy.

My room was clean, and the bed was soft. The only problem I had was with the pillows ... they were fairly hard. Still, I was able to get a good amount of sleep. The heater ran constantly (a good thing for those who are awakened by HVAC units that constantly switch on and off), and any hall noise and/or noise from other rooms was blocked out by the HVAC.

Customer service was adequate. I did receive a knock on the door from housekeeping at 9:30 a.m. despite a do not disturb sign, but that was only because of a miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping. Check-out time is 11 a.m. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel twice this year. Both times were great experiences. The room was always clean and the staff is always pleasant and there to help you. When you check in the person at the desk will call your room within ten or so minutes to make sure the room is up to your expectations. Let me ask you. How often does that happen to you in any hotel especially at their affordable prices?
We would highly recommend a stay at this location if you are in the area. It is even worth going that extra mile for your day of travel.
