The best part of the hotel is definitely the staff. Paul, a gentleman at the front desk, helped us with dessert recommendations for a late-night sweets craving. He really knew the area and had good recommendations and directions. Everyone we encountered were very helpful. And we noticed the staff is so supportive of each other. When we were leaving I said I wanted to fill out a comment card to say something about how helpful Paul had been. All the staff standing nearby praised him and told me how to go online while Paul kept saying "Oh, don't bother, that's my job."

Overall nice Hyatt. Room was very comfortable, clean; new furnishings. Location is perfect. First time I had been to Lexington. Easy to walk to restaurants, businesses and easy to find from the highway.

Stayed here a couple of nights on business . . . overall this hotel had everything I needed and was perfectly situated downtown. If one is to attend an event at Rupp Arena, you won't find a better location! The service was mostly very good but I did run into a couple of noteworthy problems . . . when I checked in I was told as a diamond member there were no upgrades available at that time and then was placed in a room that clearly was just fumigated . . . it reeked of a perfume smell! I called downstairs and spoke to a different agent and she was able to place me into a suite immediately . . . so much for no upgrades being available at the time! Also, when I left the hotel and used it's airport shuttle, it was about ten minutes late . . . from what I can tell the driver was there but appeared too busy socializing and/or watching TV in the bar area! But like I said other than that things were fine and, in fact, the service was quite good. The rooms were a bit basic--even the suite--but they were large, clean and comfortable. There is no regency room. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and the service was excellent in the dining room . . . in addition to that there are several really good restaurants within walking distance.

Came to see Lexington and stayed at this hotel because of its location. It was perfectly situated and it was very easy to walk to all the nice restaurants just a block or so away. But it was also nice to have such a nice room that was exceptionally clean. In addition, it had a great gym (and a nice pool that we did not use of expect) . The restaurant on the first floor is very lovely and full of light. They even were willing to accommodate our vegan requirements for our oatmeal for breakfast, which was very nice.

Always enjoy staying here. Staff are polite, courteous and ready to help. Ate in the dining room for dinner - very good - and for breakfast - good. No concierge level (club level) rooms - would have liked that amenity.
