I'm a longtime member of Choice Hotels frequent stay program, so when we had a little cabin fever a couple of weekends ago, I used my reward points to book my sister and I and our two small kids at this property. The boys had a great time in the pool and the mommies liked the hot tub.
The room was clean and well maintained but the two double beds in our room were rock hard, sagged in the middle, and were extremely uncomfortable in every configuration we tried: kids in one bed and moms in the other, one mom and one kid in each bed, kids on a pallet on the floor and moms alone in beds...we felt like we'd been beaten with a stick the next morning and the lack of sleep made everybody irritable. Invest in some new mattresses, please!
Continental breakfast was good, lots of variety. Front desk staff was cordial. Overall it was ok and a nice cheap getaway. Don't know if I'd stay here again, there is a newer Comfort Suites on the other side of town I'd try first.
