“Cool place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

We had a great time at this place. The food was great and prices weren't bad either. The servers were very friendly and prompt. Will go back..

“Great bartenders, great servers, and some very tasty dishes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

When I'm in the US I eat at Shamrocks 1 or 2 times per week and it's always a great experience. The staff are very friendly, remember your orders (drink or food), and truly make you feel at home.

I don't eat much of the common bar & grill items, so I can't really comment on those, but if you want a really good Cottage Pie (called Shepherds Pie on their menu but it's beef not lamb) then this is the place for you. They use Guinness Stout in the gravy, and as long as you have them leave off the cheese & add chopped onions along with some black pepper, it's truly better than the countless English country pub's Cottage Pie's I've eaten for most of my life. Of course you need a pint of the black stuff to wash it all down!

Next favourite dish is just a nice fresh Blackened Catfish, minus the fries and double the Broccoli. Squeeze a lemon over all of it and enjoy a fresh tasty meal that won't give you a heart attack :)

No worries of university students as it's a bit of an older crowd of regulars.

Cheers Shamrocks, and thanks for always providing such a good time.

“Great value, atmosphere, and food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Traveling with a friend and his 8 year old son. Great food, good beer, and good food. As northerner, I had the Kentucky hot brown and enjoyed it. My buddy enjoyed his burger. Pasta and chicken off the kids menu was okay. The menu had lots of great choices for under $10.
