Great place that you pay a little extra for. We stayed in a King suite with a foldout in the living area, they ran out of rollaway beds so that was a bit disappointing as the two teenage girls had to share the foldout. We had one small hickup the Jan from the front desk solved to our satisfaction. The breakfast was excellent. The pool are was large but did not have a hot-tub.

Indoor pool was a little chilly (in March) but very clean and well kept. Restaurant staff was friendly and helpful with menu advice during both breakfast and dinner! "Cooked to order" breakfast chef quickly prepared omelets and pancakes to perfection. The entire stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely on our list of places to return to!

Easy location to Keeneland. We drove less than 10 minutes to get there. Clean and large rooms with comfortable beds. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in the room. The pull out couch was a nice surprise. The room was separated into 2 sections with a flat screen in each.

We enjoyed our stay at this fine hotel. The breakfast was great. I was amazed how this older lady was able to stay up with all the orders and cooking your food exactly the way you like and with a smile. The cleaning service and friendliness of check in staff was outstanding. We have good memories of our stay.

This is my and my wife's favorite getaway hotel in Kentucky. The facility is gorgeous, the staff friendly, and the happy hour is free! What's not to love?

Don't forget the cooked to order breakfast which is part of the price!

Room Tip: I always ask for a high floor, far from the elevator

Stayed here with my family in a 2 room suite on the night that Butler played Marquette in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Everyone and thier mother who were interested in the NCAA tournament seemed to be staying there, including the team from Butler. Despite how busy it was, the check-in was wonderful, our room was incredibly clean and large, and it was very quiet. The breakfast the next morning is an incredible value (considering it's free). You can have omelettes made to order, eggs any style, pancakes and waffles, made to order. Plus there is a fruit station, bakery station, other hot items, etc. My only complaint would be that the pull out sofa was not very comfortable, but I never judge hotels on that!! :)

Traveled to Lexington to see George Strait concert . Stayed March 1, 2 and checked out 3rd. Discovered 2 light bulbs were burnt out after entering room Friday night. Got bulbs replaced on Saturday. Stool continued to run if handled wasn't jiggled repeatedly. Stool did overflow and maintenance did take care of it quickly. Husband is coffee drinker and there wasn't any in room went to front desk to ask for coffee for Saturday . Still no coffee when we checked out. Other than (AJ??) we found the front desk personnel patronizing and only quoted corporate policies. Had no information on cab service etc. or what other activities available that weekend. We discovered the "Everything Kentucky"at convention center ourselves. Kitchen and wait staff were execllent including breakfast. Otherwise we have certainly stayed at cheaper hotels with better service especially front desk. Will not stay at this particular Embassy again.

Dear 477SandraB,

Thank you for the time taken to review our hotel.

I would like to extend my sincerest apologies for the items you have mentioned in your review. Condition issues with the room and helpfulness of the front desk issues are simply unaccaptable and have been addressed with the appropriate staff. We strive to make each guests' experience an enjoyable one and I am sorry we have failed in so many areas during your stay. Your positive comments are appreciated and have been passed on to the appropriate departments.

I would appreciate if you could contact me directly at jan.vanco@eslexington.com so I can try to convince you to potentially return to our property again and give us another chance to prove to you that we really are a premier hotel in Lexington and one of the top Embassy Suites in the brand.
