Not a bad stay by any means. Just a little dated/old. Hallways were a little smokey but I think that was just from Keeneland party-ers. Cookies and water/tea/coffee in the lobby were nice! Perfect if you're making a weekend out of any campus event and/or Keeneland.

I had initially asked for a suite and an ajoining room - plus another room well in advance Ended up one member canceled so when I got to the hotell I canceled a single room. The desk clerk ended up canceling the adjoining room - then the other couple in our group was placed at the far opposite end of our room. There was no refrigerator in our room (they said they took ALL of them out of the rooms to clean them? ? Yeah right!

The carpet was old and thread bear - - there was a place in our bathroom where wall paper was starting to peel. This is NOT what I would expect from a Holiday Inn affiliate. WHERE IS THE HOTEL INSPECTORS ???

Yes, this hotel is older but in an elegant way -- not in a dated manner. It made it feel more like we were house guests than hotel guests. Service was excellent and the bedding was high-quality. Hotel was very quiet. My children enjoyed the pool.

We were here for a wedding. Room (in older section) was very small, bathroom extremely difficult to deal with for two people. Room was very dark. Entire hotel needs updating with brighter decor. We turned the refrigerator off because of the loud noise. The restaurant was the poorest of the stay. Breakfast service was very slow ( never did get water or OJ) food adequate, but nothing spectacular. However price for breakfast buffet was veery reasonable. Lunch was also very slow and the order was wrong. There were 6 of us and order was incorrect on 3. They were kind enough to not charge for the errors. Chicken soup was so salty it was inedible by a person who salts his food before tasting. There was a breakfast buffet hosted by the couples' parents, and it was clear that what they had ordered was not present and the service was non-existent.
