“Best place for a special occasion. Long.”
I took my mother here for her birthday. It was our first time and everything was wonderful. Four of us were seated at a table with two hot burners-if you have a family who can never agree on anything look elsewhere. There are four cheese fondues to choose from. We got the cheddar and the Swiss. The dippers were three kinds of bread cut into cubes, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, and apples. Two of us got the Caesar salad which they said was very good and my mother and I got the spinach and mushroom salad which was fabulous. Our server, Ciara, who was top notch, warned us that the burgundy dressing was strong. It was but it was also delicious. My mother and son had the fusion which had lobster, duck, and pork. My husband and I had the classic which was shrimp, chicken, and beef. We chose the burgundy cooking method and the chicken stock broth. Sierra explained how long to cook the seafood and other meats. For dessert we chose the bananas Foster white chocolate and the mixed chocolate. Dippers were New York cheesecake, strawberries, rice crispy treats, brownies, and pound cake. I chose a birthday package they had which included three roses and a card on the table. They also presented my mother with the plate that said happy 80th birthday in chocolate on it. For joining their club fondue I got a coupon for free chocolate covered strawberries. They came nestled in a box each one decorated with dark or white chocolate or drizzled with both and each strawberry was the size of a lemon. The manager stopped by to wish my mother a happy birthday and make sure we had everything we needed. This is a pricey place but perfect for a special occasion. I would definitely go back for just the cheese fondue or after a movie or concert for the chocolate dessert.
