“Awesome, chep fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

Only $5.00 for adults and kids were free! Parking was free and shuttles were available to drive you to doors. Bets only $2.00 and kids had a super fun time.

“Great training morning visit and tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

We stopped by on the first morning training session during the April meets. The tour was wonderful and informative. I also liked how that early in the morning you can pretty much wander the grounds freely and see whatever you want. There were probably 30 horses training out on the track which was really cool to see. Obviously the grounds are well manicured and nice to walk around. The "premium" parking is only $5 and well worth the money to park closer.

“Went for a reception”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

The food that was served was pretty good! And it was very clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful, I didn't get to take the tour, but heard that it was good.

“Kentucky Tradition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Visited in the morning before a race day - beautiful grounds and we couldn't believe we were allowed to wander freely without a guide. We ate at the Track Kitchen - terrific food for really low prices (if the jockeys eat here regularly I'm not sure how they stay so fit!) - and drove around as crowds were beginning to gather for pre-race tailgating. Wish we could have stayed longer.

“Fantastic Track!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

I don't know of any other race course that allows visitors to amble around the stables, eat in the restaurant where the jockeys, trainers and owners eat, and enjoy morning training sessions all without a tour guide. This place is unbelievably fabulous! Every person we ran into was pleasant and helpful. We visited days before the track opened for its spring meet and enjoyed watching everything getting set up. We only wished our travel plans allowed us to stay for the meet. If you love grand race tracks, come here and take the self-guided tour, but make sure you arrive early to see the horses working out. They stop by 10 or 10:30, check before you go.
