“Nice stay, friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

I am loyal to the Hilton chain, and this Hampton is as good as the next. My only complaint was the size of the room. I had one queen bed and the room was about half the size of a normal room. There was no closet, only an older looking armoire, which I haven't seen in use since the 90's. The room was updated and hotel looked new, so I'm not sure why they used it. Breakfast was the standard Hampton fare, waffles, eggs, cereal, etc. The hotel is a little off the beaten path, but in a quiet area which is also nice. Overall, a good stay.

Room Tip: If you are closterphobic, be sure to ask about room size before checking in.

I don't usually stay in the Hilton family of hotels, but this place was nice. It's really the only place for miles around so when coming to Lebanon, it's here.

The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff are super nice. Parking lot is well lit. Pool is small but is heated and indoors. Gym has no free weights but still does the job.

Will stay here again.

Exactly the standard for a Hampton Inn. Clean, generic, safe, good hotel.

First, Lebanon, isn't exactly Las Vegas, nor any stretch of the mind. There is no other hotels in the area. They have the small market nailed down. The location is rural. Zero chance of walking to anything as this hotel sits alone. Parking is plenty, and safety is of no concern. Check in was easy, and the lobby was spacious and open. Good decor all through the hotel. The internet is free, however, one must remember you are in Lebanon, Ky, take a deep breath and think of your connection as a slight upgrade beyond dial-up.

We stayed on a Monday night, and we would suggest eating early. We looked for places on the restaurant list which we asked for at the front desk, and most, if not all of them were closed on Monday, or had either already closed. We ended up picking up hot food at Walmart and just eating in our room. Good times in mecca of Lebanon, Ky. Heck yes.

Breakfast was clean and the selection was typical of any Hampton. We were shocked that the waffle maker has not been used. So we took advantage of that.

Wonderful breakfast was available each morning. Lots of choices. Nice, clean hotel. Would stay there again. However, the walls were paper-thin. Sounded like children were in the room above running around all evening--could have been adults, it was during Bourbonfest. Not a lot near the hotel. But we discovered that in Kentucky, you need to drive a while to find anything. Beautiful area with lots of distilleries and history. Picked this hotel since it was near the Maker's Mark distillery.

This Hampton was pretty nice. It is the only hotel in the area and price shows that. It is in the rural area righ at the edge of town but only about a mile to Walmart and the main road with restraunts. The pool is indoors and when we went it was in the 90's outside but the pool was like 45-50. It was very cold. Room was clean and typical size. I have been here a few times and some of their rooms are smaller for some reason. Staff was nice but there was a guy running around no shoes on seen him at night and next morning in the food prep area in the same clothes. Not sure if he was an employee or a friend but it was not very sanitary. I would wtill stay here again. There are some cheaper Hotels the next town over 15-20 min but they are not as nice.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn Lebanon midway through the Bourbon Trail Tour. This is a very basic hotel. Excellent staff - friendly and helpful. Location is pretty rural. Short drive into town for restaurants etc.

King room was VERY small. It was okay for an overnight stay but I think any longer and I would have felt too cramped. Overall pretty clean. Air conditioning unit needed a good cleaning out - full of something (?). Otherwise room and bathroom were clean.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. Better then a plain continental breakfast - but not much.

Price was a little higher then would be expected for a hotel of this caliber in this very rural area (this was not really that close to the Bourbon Trail or really anything else for that matter). Not sure if I'd stay here again. I think if we took this trip again I may look in a different area.

The hotel is ok, however I reserved a king non smoking and got a two bed handicap. When I questioned the desk clerk as to why, I was told that my room wasn't available. I don't think you should be able to reserve a room if it isn't going to be available.
