We were looking for somewhere different to eat in the area! I drive past Beyton Bear on a regular basis and to be honest it has always struck me as an old fashioned pub that doesn't look very inviting !!! HOW WRONG YOU CAN BE, all I can say is go for the food alone.
Four of us went on a Saturday, had drinks in the bar, the lovely friendly waitress brought the menu,s and took our orders. As soon as we saw the menu,s we knew we were in for a good night.
Food ready the waitress took us through to the restaurant, it was like two different places, really lovely, busy, cosy , not what I expected having been in the bar. This place continued to surprise us all night !!! Four of us had 3 delicious, well cooked, presented very tasty food, there was nothing to complain about, we all had different choices, all amazing. The waitress was great, friendly, funny and very efficient.
I can't believe we havnt been here before, so sorry Beyton Bear, I do know we will be returning.
The chef can clearly cook.
