The Chateau is on Domaine Mialaret which includes a camping and holiday cabins. Staff is very friendly and the vieuw from the terrace is is gorgeous. The food is very classic french, tasty but heavy on butter, cream and garlick. It includes classic dishes like escargots, confit de canard and foie gras.I found the coooking reasonable but nothing special, it did not live up to expectations the Chateau and the prices gave me.
The atmosphere is great but food, wine and service reminded me of 20 years ago. Except for a mediocre red, rose and white house wine, no wine by the glass. No advice on wine, food combinations, friendly but unproffesional service.
All in all, it was a nice evening, my 7 year old daughter loved the experience of eating in a fairytale Chateau (and by Dutch standards it was not very expensive) but foodwise you can do much better for less money in various little bistrots nearby.
