“More quantity than quality!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Ate Sunday Lunch here which I suppose is not too expensive at £9.95.
There are plenty of vegetables which appear to have been steamed and are not over cooked like they are at many pubs. Though the lamb was a reasonable portion it was fairly tasteless and deserts were pricey.
It would be helpful if families with screaming children were seated in a separate area as this would make dining more relaxing for others.

“Fabulous staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

Good food in this busy pub/restaurant which is robust rather than gastro. The staff are excellent and kept us entertained.

“lovely food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

this pub deserves it's place at number 1. service and food were both excellent and at a reasonable price. six of us ate here and we all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere very much. the only thing i could complain about was people leaving the back door open - it needs a door closer putting on then the place would be perfect.

“Pub Grub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

The Bell is very popular and you need to reserve a table if you want to sit in the very pleasant main pub rooms. There is a choice of 3 good real ales and a wide menu selection.
The service is good and friendly but the food is only of a pub grub standard - frozen stuff cooked up.

“The Bell at Yatton Keynell - Excellant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

Its only fair, I wrote a review berating The Bell Inn and now I have revisited it.

The atmophere excellant, the friendly staff excellant, very helpful and good humoured. The menu excellant and great variety. The starters arrived in perfect time and were wonderful. Plates cleared away quickly and the staff were attentive. The main was served, was hot and well presented, I had asked for extras including onion rings and these were also served without hesitation. The price was certainly a little high, but you pay for what you get and to be fair the service and standard of food was great.

My only concern was that the dryer in the ladies was like blowing cold air on your hands.
