We had a late lunch on Friday on one of the outdoor patios. This is a charming place with tree shaded patios and food worth enjoying. We were seated so that we could see the fishing small boats emerge from the creek and had a great view of barges on the Ohio. We were not rushed to order by our server and she was attentive in making sure our water glasses were full. We did drink the water, but the draft local beer was better and well priced. I had the Black and Blue hamburger and it came from the kitchen a perfectly requested medium rare, plenty of bacon and excellent blue cheese. My friends had fish tacos, not like CA fish tacos, but well done with an appealing corn salsa dressing.
It looks like the Friday afternoon bar crowd starts coming in early, but a crowd that knows some of the staff and wants to enjoy a drink in a pleasant surroundings.
