“outstanding!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

Everything about this restauarant is outstanding!
We were greeted quickly and warmly.
We had 7:30 PM reservations and were seated promptly.
Our server was great. He was curteous and prompt, but didn't hover over us.
He thoroughly explained the menu.
After a tour of the kitchen, I ordered the Bison Rib appetizer and Scallops as the main entry.
Both were cooked to perfection.
My wife ordered a Ceasar salad and Shrimp. Again, both were prepared perfectly.
This restaurant is perfect for all occassions.
It is a "must do" when in St. Thomas.

“Beautiful restaurant with fabulous food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

The decor was gorgeous while preserving the "island" feel. The staff was well trained, but not stuffy. The trip to the kitchen to preview the fresh 'proteins' was really fun, as was signing the kitchen wall - you'll 'get it' when you are there. Every dish was well prepared and nicely presented, with tasty and unusual combinations. They have an impressive wine list, but only to be enjoyed if you arrive by taxi (I would not recommend alcohol if you are driving the twisty St. Thomas mountain roads - on the left!! - at night). Overall, a very romantic and delicious evening.

Preserving that "island" feel is a very important aspect of our decor, so I appreciate you pointing that out. We're also proud of our unique mix of entrees and atmosphere, which is a cornerstone of what we strive for here. Thanks for providing a little safety tip for others visiting here, as well. I hope they all take you up on the recommendation to safely enjoy their stay in St. Thomas. Come back and see us again soon, and thank you kindly for the excellent review!

Best,

Tony, General Manager

“A St Thomas must...for good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

On Tuesday, April 16th the four of us enjoy a good++ dinner. The bouillabaisse soup was great. The mahi mahi and gnocchi were good. One ordered the pork tenderloin ...and it was grossly undercooked...BUT the waitress quickly offered a replacement....this was the only thing quick about the service.

“Best meal of the trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

We loved our meal here - best one of our honeymoon so far!! Old Stone was on both of our "highlights" list. They had exotic proteins from around the world so we got to try some new things (such as ostrich and kangaroo). Going back to the kitchen was fun, and the chef really took the time to talk to us about the menu for that day. We do suggest that you try to go later in the evening. It is not air conditioned, so it relies on the breeze to keep it cool. I does not have a great view of the ocean, so you won't miss out on a great sunset or anything. Plus, all the candles are much more romantic after dark.

“Very good, and you pay for every bit of it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

We had a birthday night, so the 4 of us went to Old Stone Farmhouse to celebrate. We all decided to try the protein off menu items, shared 2 bottles of wine (lower priced for this restaurant, which means under $100 per bottle) and had one dessert... dropped over $500 for the four of us. The food is spectacular, and was definitely our favorite meal on St Thomas! Our table was separate from others in the restaurant, so quiet and private feeling... perfect for our celebration.
