Not very picturesque on the course as far as the greens and fairways. There is no way PGA rating could be given of any consequence. Some holes were just curiosities. Watch your cart driving on some of the steep areas - a bit too dangerous, especially if wet. Being a poor golfer, the roughs were just a bit too much and I lost a lot of balls. Not really a fun course and definitely more of a target type course. But it's the only course on the island, so make the most of the opportunity and get out as early as you can to avoid the afternoon rains or early darkness in the winter, which will catch you quite unawares if you book an afternoon game.
Clubs rented were great! Carts are gas. Mondays the restaurant is closed which caught us unprepared for food. The hamburger shack provide a questionable burger and limited drink menu. Staff is friendly and helpful. Best I have been around in a while at a resort style course.Business is not exactly booming in the winter, so they bend over backwards to accomodate you for times and information.
As far as the golf experience, watch out for the wind factor. Not only does it blow the ball off line, you can expect the greens to dry up early and make shot placement hard. Expect to lob high and go for soft landings on every green. I found it very hard to read the greens for direction, but I am not a good golfer. The distance markers are practically non-existent. Very poor markings anywhere. Better take some type of GPS device for help if you want to shoot for a decent score.
