What makes this B&B so special is its hosts, Rose and Gary. Transplants from New England they make you feel as if you were a relative of theirs. We very much enjoyed their company during the two breakfasts that we had at the B&B. Rose is a great cook and we had two wonderful breakfasts that had us not wanting lunch until very late in the day. I wish we had stayed longer so that we could have experienced some of the things that she was cooking for the cafe that they operate on the back of the house. I understand that the desserts are to die for. We had a very nice room on the second floor adjacent to the library. I wish we had stayed during warmer weather so that we could have enjoyed the upstairs porch. The B&B is conveniently located and is walking distance to all of the sites in Frankfort, with the exception of the state capital and the governor's mansion, which is across the river. Frankfort is nice, sleepy, southern town and it is conveniently located near the Buffalo Trace Distillery, which has a great tour. If you are visiting Frankfort, I would highly recommend staying at The Meeting House; you will not be disappointed.
