It has been a couple of years, but we stayed at the Graystone Manor as a last minute decision. We were passing through Frankfurt and stopped to stay the night. We just happened to find the B&B by an accomodations pamphlet we found. To make a long story short, we arrived at the inn and found we were the only guest that evening. Irene Vaughn (whom we assume still owns the B&B with her husband David) was wonderful. She immediately made us feel at home. She showed us around and let us choose which room, out of the three, that we would like to stay the night. We chose the Judges Chamber. We loved the screened in porch and bath area. We told Irene not to go to any trouble for us since we were the only guest (I ran a bed and breakfast at the time myself and know how it is to have last minute guest). However, when we got back from dinner, Irene had a lovely late night treat set up for us. She had made some delicious lemon curd filled meringues and had coffee with liqueur and real cream. The next morning she made a delicious gourmet breakfast for us. Before we finished breakfast, the Vaughn's informed us they were going to church and for us to feel welcome to stay as long as we wanted and if we were still there when they returned, then they would see us then. In closing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And even though it was for only one night, it is still a memorable time we will always remember. Unfortunately, we live 7-8 hours away, so we haven't been enough to return for another visit, but we hope to one day.
