“Old Faithful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Recently met friends here for lunch. The food and service continue to be high quality. Nothing fancy, but consistently good. The best onion rings you'll ever eat. The fish is a favorite of mine.

“Not What it used to be...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I will make this short and simple. This used to be a place to get away from the chain restaurants and have a good meal with good service. Did not seem to be the case recently. A 20 minute wait quote turned into 55 minutes with no apology. The food was not tasty. The steak was terrible. I know it's not a steak place but based on the cost I would have expected more and in the past it has been better. The Greyhound seems to have lost some of what made it a special non chain evening out.

“Casual dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Very casual place with home cooked meals and a very friendly staff. Monday night was full of mature adults feasting on their fried chicken special. This is not a place for 20-somethings but if you are looking for a quiet meal at a very fair price it is a good catch.

“Good but not Great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

The fried chicken was average. The customers were mostly large family groups and seniors. Like the fact it is 92 years old.

“Nice atmosphere and good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Wonderful food in an old tavern-atmosphere is charming! The Kentucky Hot Brown is delicious and the Walleye Pike is very good. The portions are adequate, they have been downsized in recent years. Sometimes service is a little hectic as they are always busy. There are several rooms in which to dine and a quaint bar where you also can dine. It is always on our holiday schedule-beautifully decorated for Christmas!
