We stayed here in a two bedroom suite to take my mom for for 70th birthday to the Cincinnati Flower show. Everything in the hotel was clean and fresh and the two bedroom suite had two full baths- a must for a group of four women. Service was great- the front desk has plenty of maps and directions and really knew the area. When the staff found out at breakfast that it was my mother's birthday, they gave her a bath gift basket. Unfortunately, the day we were to check out and go to the flower show, I became ill. Not only did the hotel extend our checkout time so I could recover- they sent me a get well bag with soda, pepto bismol and balloons and a get well card!

This is a newer Residence Inn which unfortunately means, as it does for many "mid-range" hotels built after 2001, it is cheaply built and has paper-thin walls. There was even a "furnace room" in our two bedroom suite that hummed and purred everytime the thermostat was adjusted.

This hotel is near the airport, maybe a 3 minute, 2 mile drive....and they have free shuttle. It is also within a 3 mile drive of Florence, Kentucky where you can find several chain restaurants, drugstores, etc. There is even a "two dollar" 8-screen movie house just 2 miles from the hotel.

Breakfast was eggs and sausage, cereals, some bland donut-pastries and bread to make toast. They also had some fruit and yogurt.

The staff was friendly enough but we were upset that when we made our reservation directly with the hotel, they did not inform us that the hotel was under renovation. We had a sick child with us and had to walk several times down hallways full of open, stinky paint cans, wallpaper strewed about, painters scraping madly, etc.

Over all an okay place to spend the night, and there is a full kitchen in the room and free grocery-shopping service is offered....but if you don't have a car there is nothing within walking distance except for the dining room at a nearby holiday Inn...and it's a long walk.

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn while in the area for a meeting. The hotel is undergoing a renovation, but it did not interrupt my stay at all. The building I stayed in did smell a bit of new paint, but was EXTREMELY clean. It was nice to feel like I was the first person to stay in the room.

I had a studio on the first floor and it was a great size. They offered free wireless internet which was good since I was traveling on business. The room included a kitchen which was helpful when I brought my dinner back. They offer a complimentary managers reception in the evening and complimentary hot breakfast bar, both are great additions to the facilities.

I did have to move rooms upon arrival. The TV was being repaired in the first room I arrived at, but they took care of the problem immediatley, brought me a key and helped me move my luggage.

I would definately recommend this facility.
