“Would stay again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

Very nice staff and not far from the airport. Your average Courtyard so you'll definitely know what to expect. "Bistro" in lobby was an unexpected site. Starbucks, to boot. No problems here at all.

I'm sure if in the area again, I'd choose this hotel over others.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us and I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We use your feedback to further improve our service and will certainly use this for training purposes. The hotel went through a major renovation and we typically wow our guests when they see it. We do appreciate your comments and hope you try us again in the future.

This is a great place to stay for business, lobby is updated with newer market place and common area. Staff is very nice, rooms are average. Was with several colleagues and we found the common area comfortable and a productive place to work. Nice little bar too.

We limped into the hotel (where we had reservations) as starting having car trouble 2 miles before we got there at 5:00 on New Year's Eve. The clerk was extremely helpful. Got us the phone number for local Honda and printed directions of how to get there. I was so frazzled from car trouble I regret I didn't get her name to thank her personally here. Liked the indoor pool/workout area. Bed very comfortable. Only reason I don't give this hotel the excellent rating was breakfast was subpar to what one usually expects. No waffle maker, etc....mainly pastries and cereal. But price was right (used Marriott reward points to stay for free) so happily hit local McDonalds on way home in the morning.

Room Tip: Ask for quiet side away from interstate.

Major reason for writing this review is to give recognition to the service received and the kindness and hospitality shown. Stayed 3 nights with my daughter and granddaughter (7 months old). During the third night, my daughter became very ill with a virus/stomach flu... When I went downstairs to get crackers and gator ade - there were no crackers in vending machines so I asked the clerk at the front desk. He in turn talked to the manager (I'm assuming) who went and found lots of crackers and offered to find Ginger Ale or go to a convenience store, if needed, for anything else she might need. This wasn't necessary but the offer was much appreciated. I don't usually write reviews, but felt like kindness needs to be recognized. It's not always about the fancy things - the kindness shown to my daughter at that time was much more important to me. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Room Tip: Room was right beside ice machine (requested) which was a plus for me - very convenient since travel...

We had a great room at the Springhill Suites while attending our son's UC orientation. On our last night, the hotel lost power and we had to relocate. The Springhill manager called this hotel on his cell phone and requested a room. A room was available and we requested it be held for 30 minutes or so while we drove over. We did not receive a confirmation number and it was our understanding that, if power was restored, we would not need to relocate.

We piled in the rental car, plugged Courtyard Airport (the only info we were given) into the GPS and drove south. When we arrived at the Courtyard, we learned there was more than one Courtyard near the airport. Since it was late, the hotel staff offered us a room, which we accepted, provided they were able to square things with the other Courtyard hotel. They called the Erlanger location and were advised it was taken care of ... so we checked in.

We were quite surprised to see a room charge from both Courtyards on our Visa. When we initially contacted them to resolve the billing error, we were advised they did nothing wrong and we needed to pay the bill for a room we did not use. Marriot customer service advised us to dispute the billing on our credit card, which we did (twice unsuccessfully). A BBB complaint has been filed and remains unresolved.

It's important to note this isn't about the money ... it's about being treated fairly and with respect. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend staying at this hotel.

Compared to residence inn down the street this hotel offers little. Much smaller typical hotel size rooms, no complimentary breakfast or food of any kind. No "perks" for Marriott rewards loyalty program elite members (not even a free bottle of water or discounted breakfast or drink). Hotel and room were clean enough but nothing special and the price was higher than the residence inn....next time I will stay at the residence inn

My husband and I received a great rate on a room at this hotel for one night during a quick trip to the Cincinnati area. Check-in was a breeze. Lobby has obviously been updated recently and has a very modern look to it. Unfortunately, our room did not have the same feel to it. It was, however, very clean and quiet. The room balconies are a nice touch. Don't expect much of a view though as this hotel is situated in an office park. The room shower had great water pressure which is of importance to me. Towels appeared to have been older and very rough on the skin.

Overall, great room especially for the price. We would stay at this hotel again when visiting the area.
