Will Start With Calling For Reservations On 12-5-11. Spoke With The Mgr. Teresa, She Was Rude And Not Helpful or Friendly Or Professional On The Phone. And Turned Out She Also Was Not Truthful With My Reservations. When I Checked In And Went To My Room, I Found That The Room Was Dirty! The Room Smelled Like A Sewer Back Up. There Was Food From The Prior Guest In The Frig!! There Was Food Items On The Counter That The Prior Guest Had Left, On The Sink Was Dirty Dish That The Prior Guest Had Left. The Bathtub Was Dirty!! The Entire Building Was Just Plain Dirty!!! And If You Are Concerned About Your Saftey And Security While Staying At A Hotel/Motel, Then DO NOT STAY HERE! Both Side Entrance Doors Are Kept Proped Open 24/7, Has A Sign On Both Doors That The Locks Do Not Work And To Keep The Doors Proped Open!!!! Sure Makes You Feel Safe, Anyone Can Enter The Building With Out Anyone Knowing About It!!!!! More About The Rooms, The Toilet Was Not Working, The Handle Was Broken, I Told The Staff About It, She Replied That The Boss Had Just Fixed It, As Of This Writing, It Still Has Not Been Fixed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SUPER 8 IN DANVILLE!!!! Someone Needs To Give Ms. Teresa A Lesson On Customer Service And The Place Needs To Be Cleaned Up!!!!!! And The Secuirty Of Their Guest Should Be A Concern To This In This Day And Time!!!!

Room Tip: No Room At This Super 8 Is A Good Room.

Everything was booked in Danville. The recent reviews didn't look bad so I thought I'd try Super 8. Ugh! I walked into what was to be a non-smoking room that reeked of stale smoke. The queen bed was slanted up at the foot. The toilet seat looked like there was an orange spot on it. The same orange spots were on the tub. When I complained, the front desk person tried to clean the toilet seat and announced that they both had cigarette burns. Hm, non-smoking room! I had no choice - had to stay because everything was booked up all over town. There were stains on the recliner chair and on the rugs. Stains on the wall in the bathroom. The bathroom door looked like someone had tried to punch a hole in it. The toilet rocked and the floor tiles were loose. The bed spread had a huge cigarette burn in it and the blankets were old and ratty looking. The bed wasn't actually a bed frame but some sort of support that was rigged up with 3 metal bars under the middle of the box springs that extended out to the side of the bed - right where your legs would be as you sit on the bed. They were wrapped in duct tape -- must've had some complaints from folks with butchered ankles! Have never seen anything like this before! I have to tell you - the back seat of my car sounded pretty good at this point. But I stayed. Slept in my clothes! The next morning I wasn't surprised when there was a meager trickle out of the shower. Anything positive ? The sink looked like it was granite -- didn't match anything – but it looked sort of new. The sign out front suggested the rooms had been refurbished - - ha!

Room Tip: Don't stay in room 109

The room was clean and in good condition. Convenient location. The only problem encountered was that the room didn't smell very good (musty/moldy-- we opened the windows). Didn't get a chance to try to get a different room since the place was sold out that night. I would rate this hotel as 'very good' except for the odor.

We stayed for the Equestrian Games so every other hotel was booked.
All we expected was a place to sleep, but was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. The Hotel staff & manager went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We mistakenly booked a single for myself, my wife and 17yr old daughter, after explaining our mistake to the clerk they got us a double without hesitation. No worries , no problems. They even made sure we had a hot breakfast the next day even though we over slept and missed the 10:00 deadline. Hats off to their staff.
