This Marriott is very nice. It is on the ohio river, right across from downtown Cincinnati. Most of the rooms have great partial views of downtown and the river. The river walk area right outside the hotel is not very impressive, but there is a river tour boat station and a TGI Fridays right outside, and an Embassy Suites next door. The rooms are very nice, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I expected the bathroom to be bigger than it was, but it was still fine. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms had dial-up internet capability, but no high-speed ethernet ports (im not sure if the rooms were Wi-Fi equipped.) Overall I would recommend this hotel.

I loved my stay here. The people where great. I am not sure what the other are talking about. But everyone went out of their way to help me. A man at the front desk wen out of his ay to take my family to the zoo. He didnt have to do this. I also wonder about these people that complain about this place. why is it only the grumpy give reviews you only hear the neg. I have stayed here many times and it has always been the best in Cincinnati

I have never stayed ina hotel where I've paid so much for so little. Even with a AAA discount, the room was overpriced, very small and dirty. We decided on a weekend away for our anniversary and can say unequivocally we will never stay there again! We couldn't get any kind of service, including fresh towels, and none of the movie channels were working. We asked for a private, quiet room so we could enjoy the special weekend and were put between several rooms occupied by a very noisy family. When we asked to be moved, they declined even though the hotel was not even close to being full. I recommednd you never stay in this hotel, surely there is something near by that offers some amenities!

I regularly stay here for business, probably 7-8 stays per year for the past 4 years.
Great service, nice rooms, especially if you get one with a river view.
The "exception" is as noted by a previous review: the noise from the atrium. Especially at holiday time, the hotel hosts big functions full of (drunken?) revelers in the atrium, and the noise can be heard loudly in the guest rooms.
I called to complain and was told the function would be ending "early" but the noise continued until close to 11:00 p.m. - too late for me when I'm on business travel!
I now stay across the street at Embassy Suites when I am in the area during December! The rest of the year I'm very happy at the Marriott.
