One word: FLEAS

I called the hotel and advised them of the fact that my dog didn't have fleas when we checked in (indoor dog and always with me) and within 2 days I found several fleas on her stomach. I took her to the vet and caught it in time before eggs were hatched. I spoke to the manager who was going to check the room and get back with me.....I'm still waiting for that call and it's October now. I paid $25 additional for my clean dog to stay here, only to become infested with fleas. So between the vet bill, grooming bill and $25 pet fee I was out over $200 plus the cost of the room. Next time I drive North, I will drive straight through.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for a romantic getaway. It is located about 15 miles from the Cumberland Falls.
The room we had was in a great location. It was on the first floor right down the hall from the pool, lobby, and breakfast room. The room itself was average. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired. There was coffee left in the coffee pot from the last guest. The toilet had a ring around it and the floor still had hair in different areas of the bathroom. It didn't appear that it was cleaned too well before we arrived. That would probably be my only complaint about it. We loved the fresh cookies and fruit that was available 24 hours a day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was close to a lot of restaurants. We especially liked O'Malley's across the street. The outdoor pool was very small so we didn't try it out but a lot of people were enjoying it. We did check to make sure it was clean and it looked great. We would stay here again but I hope the rooms are cleaned a little better next time.

My husband and I recently stayed here for one night with our 3 teenage soons. We had two king rooms. Our first problem was that there are two stories and no elevator. This is not well-known fact. More about that later. So we lugged our stuff upstairs and dump it all in a very hot room and realize it is a queen room. Go back downstairs and get in line at desk. Older couple were trying to check in and had just found out that there was no elevator. She could not climb stairs and all other rooms were booked. Ashley at the desk seemed that she had heard it all before and did nothing to help. Finally when asked a numer of times for help from guest, she called around and found another room at Holiday inn. I told her my problem and she called mgr and got me another room. Go haul luggage again to an upgraded room, again hot and so musty. Must not be used a lot.
Dinner options around there are not great. We tried the "Irish" Pub across the street, but you had to be 21 yrs old to enter. Then we went to "Tuscany" Gardens. No glass of wine today, was Sunday. Meal took forever , with every table around us dirty..but help had plenty of time to goof around in entryway with fake steps up the wall in Tuscany. Hope I never see this place again!!

This was a nice place to stop for the night. The check-in was fast and easy. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant just the other side of the parking lot with good food. There also was a cinema right across the street that was very nice. The only complaint I had was the fact that the bathroom had an odor of urine which permeated into the room. We opened the window which aired the room out but the bathroom still smelled. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good and check-out fast.
