“Outstanding Zip Line and personnel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2012

This zip line thru the hills and valleys of southern Kentucky is a blast. A real canopy tour thru the trees. Very close to Mammoth Cave National Park, both could be done in a single day with a little time for the other tourist trap stuff in the area. Steve and Randy were great. Explained every little thing and made sure we were comfortable, safe and just as important, made sure we enjoyed every minute of it. The skybridges are well made and not scary at all, (well maybe a tiny bit). The ladder climb, both up and down is a bit nerve wracking but what the hey, it was all FUN!

“Awesome spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2012

If you like cave and do not mind walking and listen to history, this is great. We took the Historical tour which took about two hours long and about two miles walk. My four years old daughter had a blast. She wants to do it again. There are several guided tour you can choose from. Our Park Ranger was very informative and fun. We will do it again.

“The Zip line is an intense ride”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2012

This zip line is down a mountain (big hill), sot this is not a leisure ride. You can hit up to 80MPH and its a half mile long. This is not for the faint of heart, but if you want a little adrenalin rush, it's worth the money.

Note it wasn't cheap as its $40 per person, or if you have 3 people you can ride 3 for $100. The ride contains an 8 mintute chair lift to the top of the hill. Three guides went with us to assist. There are 2 small practice zip lines, which were very helpful and confidence building before you went on the big one. It takes about a 1/2 hour to get through the whole ride.

The guides were helpful on instruction, safety tips and putting on the harness. There are two parallel zip lines so you can race each other. My kids got a big kick out of that.

It took some guts to jump off the platform, but its something you got to try in your life.
The ride is over pretty fast, but if you have zip line skills its fun to do some fun twisting techniques. I have to admit I had trouble slowing down at the end ( I don't have skills), but they had a big guy at the end to catch you.

The park has an alpine slide and other fun things, but the zip line is the star of the park.

“Awesome experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

I am 57 and my husband is 61, it was one of the things on our bucket list we've been wanting to do. So much fun, views are amazing and the guides were so much fun. It is very safe and they do everything at your pace. Would love to take our grandchildren . The guides know their stuff and are excellant at teaching you how to have the safest time possible. We went in the fall with all the beautiful colors on the trees. Would do it again in a heart beat. Thanks Mammoth Cave Adventures you rock! Safe and fun even for NaNa & PaPa!
