“Enjoyable tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

My husband and I enjoyed the tour. It was really nice. Not as informative as others but nice. Beautiful atmosphere. Gift shop is beautiful. They have two option on the tour. One, $7.00 with out glass. $10.00 with glass. Their whiskey and bourbon are good. It is a small distillery.

“family run distillery”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Willett is part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour. Tours are on the hour and $7 for a 45 minute tour. There are no signs directing you once you get on the property which makes it a little confusing. Go all the way to the back and there is a gift shop on the right with parking at the side of the building

The tour goes thru various different buildings where you see the fermenting vats and the distilling process. We didn't see the bottling on this tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. After the tour we were taken back to the gift shop and could have 2 tastings.

Although it's a small batch distillery the tour was much like the larger distilleries we've toured, with numerous buildings, large fermenting tanks and still, and numerous rickhouses with the aging barrels of bourbon.

“Very nice surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

What a nice surprise to the craft tour! Janelle was very pleasant & informative when we stopped in late on Thursday. We managed to make it back for a tour late morning on Saturday and were not disappointed. Inside of the gift shop & main working facility, just beautiful. Looking forward to their future plans.

“Enjoyable time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

We really enjoyed our time at Willett Distillery. They have big plans and the place is going to be gorgeous when it is all completed. There is a lack of signage once on the grounds, but I believe that is being remedied. Staff and guide where terrific. They are running with the "big dogs" and keeping up just fine.

Family owned and treated you like a very welcomed family member. Small distillery so see it first for comparison. Love their bourbon!!
