We stayed their for 3 nites with other famiy member's in other rooms for a family reunion. Excellent location! But that is where it stops! Very dark carpet, but maybe that is for the best! My feet were black in seconds after walking around the room. I had never had allergy problem's in my life, but I woke with swollen eyes & a sore throat. As soon as I left the room for a few hour's everything was OK. My children took it the worst, the filth that is, LOL... I told them to pretend we were camping and to keep their shoes on. I called the maid the Towel Nazi, LOL.....she would only trade them out one for one and never give you extra & she kept up with everyone who came and went in your room. As we had to tell her that we had 3 rooms for a Reunion and would be visiting back and forth, she was not happy! She wanted to charge for extra people in a room. I did not take a bath during this stay and waited for the next hotel we stayed in. Very safe neighborhood but very unclean rooms and not so nice staff. My children bathed in the pool, which was actually clean! But remember NO TOWELS for YOU! I have seen worse, just once in cleanliness. Camping is actually cleaner in the state parks if you are wanting to stay around Bardstown.
