The rooms were clean and the front desk was very accommodating. The hot breakfast was horrible though. They only had bacon or sausage one of the three days, there were also nasty omelet things. They were out of everything constantly without refilling it. The othe. Bad thing a out the hotel is that the keys stopped working every day.i would have to get them reprogrAmmed once or twice a day

I choose this hotel because I am a Priority Rewards member and loyal to the brand. This hotel was also close to the facility I was working at for business. Had this not been a business trip I booked through corporate travel I would have packed up the first night and checked in somewhere else. The good: The location was excellent, near the highway, shopping, and dining. The staff was friendly. The bad: The hotel is very old and stale. The smell of burnt toast permeated the hallway 3 out of the 4 days I was there. The smoke detector in my room was disconnected (picture). The shower head had lime and rust on it and was never cleaned the whole time I was there (picture). The base of the bathroom sink was falling apart from the counter. You can see the caulking holding it together falling apart (picture). I am suprised that neither the housekeeping staff nor the housekeeping supervisor noticed these very evident things in the whole week I was there. The elevator was slow and made noises (I noticed the inspection was way over a year old). In lieu of the elevator, I used the stairs a lot. The fire doors that were to remain closed in the stairway were open the whole time. Holiday Inn Express is my hotel of choice and I still like the brand. I have reached out the them regarding this hotel via a survey they sent me through email and I have never gotten a response back. Disappointing!

We were on a long drive and stopped here in Wichita on New Years Eve. Hotel pool was clean and fun, hot tub worked great. The room was clean and spacious and bed/pillows were super comfortable. The bathroom was nice and big and there was a little rubber duckie to play with in the bathtub - super cute!
We like Holiday Inn Express's for the breakfast, and this did not disappoint. The pancake machine was fun for my kids to do themselves, and the staff was very helpful. They even gave us a great recommendation for Pizza to be delivered! Overall a great stay for a great reasonable price!

Your average 3 star-ish hotel, decent price, building/rooms older and could use TLC in spots but not dirty/buggy/untolerable. Jane & Danny at the front desk both were nice. The pool area needed to be swept and mopped, rather dirty and hairy (literally). The standard hot HI Express breakfast, with decent food and selection. Located right off of Rock Rd, which has dozens of restaurants and big box stores within a mile of the hotel.
