Let's start with breakfast. The first day we had deliciously seasoned hashbrowns, perfectly scrambled eggs (not runny goo like the last place), sausage, biscuits and gravy, and homemade french toast (not the boxed kind most hotels serve). The second day there was crispy bacon instead of sausage, and pancakes instead of French toast. This was the tastiest hotel breakfast of our entire trip. It included the other typical breakfast stuff too: cereal, yogurt, etc. Two of the four cereal options were wheat free, which our fam appreciated.

The lobby had an open, luxurious atmosphere. There was a pretty waterfall near the entrance outside.

The pool was indoor outdoor style with a hot tub that my Kids took advantage of.

The staff was incredible and kind.

The room was clean. We had a big wall mounted flat screen with all the cable channels. The bed was comfy.

And lastly, I was very happy with the price. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank You for your kind words! I believe we have the best free breakfast buffet in Wichita, as you said, with real eggs, thick bacon, real French toast etc...., not imitation like many of the chains have. Especially for the price, as you again mentioned. We also have recently updated our indoor pool and spa area, as well as new climate control to make the area more enjoyable for guests. We have updated many of the beds in our rooms which our guests love. If you enjoy fitness, please visit our newly updated fitness center, with brand new state of the art equipment. Last, both our front desk as well as the housekeeping staff I believe are some of the best in Wichita, and always wanting to make the guest stay as pleasant as possible... thanks again...and we look forward to seeing you again

We booked this hotel only because it was the only place I could find that had any available rooms. When we got to our room none of the lights would turn on and we realized there were no light bulbs in any of them. It was hot in the room so we turned on the air conditioners in both rooms. The AC in the bedroom was extremely loud and was not blowing cold air. We decided we would wait and see if it cooled down over time while we left for a few hours. When we got back the bedroom was still very hot. I called down to the from desk and asked for another room and they got us that right away. Once we moved to our other room there were still lights that did not work because of no light bulbs. The AC in the bedroom worked alright but it would not get to the temp we wanted. The AC in the living room did not work at all. We decided to just deal with it because it was late and we were tired. I remember staying at this hotel when I was younger and it was very nice. I don't know why it has turned into a not so nice place. The staff was very friendly and helpful with moving our rooms though.

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with your last stay. Please know that we take negative issues very seriously and are looking to correct them. We are investigating why light bulbs were missing in the rooms, as this should have been reported by the housekeeping staff? At the start of the hot weather season, we will occasionally get reports of guest room AC units not operating correctly. Our maintenance staff works quickly to clean or replace these units to assure guest satisfaction. Please know that we work very hard to make every guest stay as pleasant as possible. Recent upgrades include the indoor pool area, HVAC throughout the common areas, new fitness equipment, new beds, as well as a new roof and exterior walls reworked and repainted. I hope when you're in Wichita again, you give us another chance. For the price I believe are one of the best hotel deals in Wichita. thank you

We decided to call Northrock, one of our favorites in Wichita, to see if they could provide a recliner. My husband had just had a knee injury and wasn't dealing with beds well. So we called and "Carrie" promised us a recliner in our room. Then, when we got there, my husband checked in and was told the motel was booked solid and there would be no recliner. I got on the phone and talked to "Chris" and he was able to deliver where Carrie had over-promised! Thanks! Still don't get the coffee without cream/sugar/stir sticks, though. We also had an ironing board, but alas, no iron. And I personally don't like wifi's that keep kicking me out. I'd rather use a 24 hour service, thank you! And, I don't know, is covering up the handicapped parking with construction equipment even legal?

Room tip: Ask for Chris :)

I'm glad Chris was able to accommodate you with a recliner. We don't have them in every room, so there is a slight chance that a recliner might not be available when someone requests one, especially when we are sold out. Of course there should have been an iron in your room, the front desk should have been able to get you one. The wifi we have switched from Cox to AT&T Uverse. As your title says...we are trying!! We've had several companies out to help us get better reception, and we have increased our bandwidth 3 times. We still have issues sometimes when we are full, especially when there are a lot of teams/kids. This means every room with 2 to 4 devices all trying to connect to the internet. Please know we are striving to have fast, uninterrupted internet service for all guests. Sorry about the inconvenience that the construction going on caused, as they were working behind the handicap parking they were required to seal it off. thank you

We decided to visit our new grandchild and met our daughter in Wichita at this hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite and it was mediocre. The rooms smelled good but are dated and the furniture could use a good cleaning . There was water damage in one of the bathrooms and it looked like the wood underneath one of the sinks was falling. The fluorescent ceiling light stopped working on Saturday and when we called the front desk they said no one could fix it until Monday. Someone on our floor was smoking marijuana and we could smell it in our room. Concerned for our 9 day old granddaughter we called the front desk again and the security/driver couldn't find it and stated it was probably coming from outside. Needless to say, this is our first and last stay at this hotel. Their customer service skills need some work. The high note was that the breakfast buffet was good and was well kept and it was quiet even thought the hotel was full.

I'm sorry for the issues you had during your stay with us. Someone should have been able to change the ceiling light, and I am looking into this. As you said, we were full this weekend, and when ever there is an issue with smoking regardless of the substance...we take it seriously. We do have security that can check on this, but as you might expect, sometimes this is hard to pin down exactly where the problem is. We are a non-smoking hotel....and we do not tolerate smoking of any kind. We continue to strive to make every guest stay as pleasant as possible. Thank You

The room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was a good variety but no fresh fruit. Small pool. Variety of machines in workout room. For the rate of $72 we got on a Wed night, we will stay here again.
We were on the second floor and didn't hear any one below or above us. Quiet at night, easy to sleep.

Thank you for your comments.....the indoor pool is small, but it connects directly to the outdoor pool....so when both are open in the Spring, Summer & Fall the pool is much bigger. We have recently added 4 new machines in the fitness center. And thanks to the cement floors..we never get complaints about noise from above or below. Hope to see you again...!!!
