We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent--within walking distance of Target, World Market, Cabela's, and several restaurants, and it's only a couple miles from Rock Road, which has just about any store or restaurant you could want. Also, it's in a very safe location on the outskirts of Wichita. It's literally just off K-96, which makes getting to it very convenient. The hotel itself is incredibly nice. We were blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the spaciousness and decor of the breakfast room/lobby. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I've had in a hotel. We've now stayed at this hotel twice--in March and September 2012. It will definitely be our go-to hotel when traveling to Wichita!

I really like this hotel, it was my 2nd choice but turned out to be outstanding. There's a Chillis next door and fast food nearby, plus a super target and a Bass Pro Shop. If you like to walk, jog or ride a bike there's a nice paved trail just outside the hotel (look to the north just before the highway). Good exercise room inside the hotel.

Stayed here for one night on July 15, 2012. Very friendly front desk staff. They looked up my HHonors information right away and verified everything was correct. I had a King Room that was very nice, but standard for Hampton Inns. One table, a desk chair and one lounge chair. The shower was very spacious but does not have a bench or any foot rest in it. The rest of the bathroom is decorated great and everything worked. The bed was on the firm side but very comfortable for me as a bigger guy. I had the free breakfast waffles and they were ok. Nothing awesome, but not horrible either, I looked at the free breakfast as fuel for the long drive ahead. The orange juice was decent and there was plenty of toast, yogurt and mini western omellettes along with sausage and something else served warm. I have no complaints with this hotel at all, it's very nicely decorated and seems very new. I would recommend to anyone staying in Wichita. Also, it's close drive to restuarants like Granite City, Famous Daves and a good breakfast place, The Good Egg is maybe 2 miles away, but easy to find on E 21st St. which is a main road.

My preference has been the Homewood Suites, but it can be hard to book on late notice. As a result, I've been staying at the Hampton Inn more frequently. It is a great hotel. Clean, near K96 which is convenient for a number of locations around the city. It is a bit of a hike from the airport though.

All in all this is a great choice for business travel.
