My wife and I were traveling through Kansas and needed a place to rest for the night. After calling some other hotels we found the Wichita Inn Suites. This hotel was a good find overall. The front desk was friendly enough. Our room was nice - it was a corner king suite. It included a kitchenette, 2 comfortable chairs, bathroom and king size bed. There was also a microwave and full size refrigerator. We could have stayed there several days if needed. Unfortunately, the mattress wasn't as good for us. It was very soft which could be okay depending on preference. However , whenever I would roll over I would shake my wife's side. For her it was like being on a ship. That's too bad because we liked just about everything else about this hotel.
The bathroom was nice and bright and the shower was very good. The hotel has a good hot breakfast buffet featuring eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits, pancakes and gravy. The breakfast was very filling and tasty.
One small thing I liked was the elevator. For rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors the glass elevator provided a nice view of the city.
Overall the price was very reasonable, the hotel was nice and had a good layout for the rooms. At least in our case the mattress issues however were a downer.
