Stayed at this property overnight on November 5, 2013 albeit with some reservations (pun intended) after reading the Tripadvisor reviews, and attended a conference on the property the following day. The room - second floor near the north end - was clean and everything worked. The mattress was comfortable and the bedding and towels were clean. The interior was dated and bit worn in spots, and the television was a CRT model. But a lounge chair, a refrigerator, and a microwave was included. No signs of bugs in the room and housekeeping did a good job of cleaning.
The Continental breakfast was not impressive. Hot choices were oatmeal or bread and gravy. Yes, bread. I overheard another guest remark that the biscuits were gone within the first ten minutes after the "buffet" was opened. To be fair however there were other choices such as bagels, along with coffee, and orange and apple juices.
The meeting room was well lighted, the temperature was well regulated and the hotel supplied pastry and coffee was good. Overall, manager Tricia seems to do a good job of running the property. The owners do need however to establish and advertise a permanent name for the hotel. It is no longer a Ramada, according to Ramada corporate, but still displays the Ramada sign. When I asked a staff member when confirming my reservation, the response was that negotiations were taking place with Ramada. Unfortunately this makes the telephone listing and address very difficult to search and find for a traveler passing through which results in lower occupancy for the hotel.
