We arrived early for dinner, and thought since we were in the middle of the midwest, steak was in order. Thankfully this is not a chain, but a locally owned place with a strong sense of quality consciousness. I ordered a 6 oz. Kansas City Strip medium rare, and it was perfect. The seasoning on the steak was very good, but it was the flavor of the meat itself that made this one of the best steaks I have ever tasted. It had just the right amount of char, and was tender too. the sides were good as well, and service was attentive and pleasant. A manager stopped by the table to check all was well. Quality control was in action. The place was filling up by around 6. Don't miss the steaks here.
