I did not actually stay at the Spa as we have a small cabin at Manitou. But there was no area on review to say that.
What I want to say is because of the Grand Opening in 2010 and the Tour we had. Most of the remarks I read on your replies were from 2008-9 which were before the renovations had been completed in summer of 2010. The beds were explained as very special mattresses and they were definitely been the most comfortable I have ever had at a hotel.
The rooms are beautiful and very well designed. The scerery is spectacular from most of the rooms and the rooms are rented in different catagories so people can choose what there experiency will be and the reason they are there.
New carpeting, beautiful large bathrooms; beautiful furniture so you could not help but be comfortable and feel like you are in luxury.
I just want people to take a look again and don't look at these old remards from before the renos.
In speaking to any one at the lake that speaks about their stay speaks only of good things; great food and "what a wonderful place".. They come from all over the world.
That's fantastic !
