I checked in very late around 10pm and the person at the main desk was very pleasant. After check in she called to make sure our room was comfortable. We had a drink in the lounge that evening and really enjoyed the multiple big screen TV's. We had little time for breakfast and found the restaurant buffet quick and filling. Would recommend to others!

Room and service was ok but thay need to keep the ice and snow off the parking lot it was not a safe parking situation in the Winter. I was also under the impression a small breakfast was included. Ya Right

This hotel is AWEFUL!!!!! By far the WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED IN! We were advised their guaranteed check in time was 4:00 pm. We arrived at 1:00 pm and were told there are no clean rooms available. No big deal as we were early. They told us to come back at 4:00 and our rooms would be ready. We checked in at 4:00 like we were told to and once again, they did not have the staff on duty to meet their own set guaranteed check in obligations. When asked what kind of time frame we were looking at, they could not give us an answer. Under normal circumstances, this would not be a problem, but we had reserved 7 rooms as this was a 55th wedding anniversary celebration and we had all traveled a great distance to get together. There were also small children who needed a place to nap, change clothes, etc. Finally, after constant persistance, we were able to check in to our rooms at 5:25 pm. However, upon doing this, several of the rooms were filthy! Toilets did not flush, hair filled the shower area, and there were no clean towels. After going through all of this there were NO apologies from the staff and nothing was compted for us. Not even a free breakfast! This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at and will definately tell everyone I know NOT to stay here!

This hotel was an old Holidy Inn Holidome that was apparently purchased by Clarion and is currently being renovated. The renovation is still in process so I'm sure it will continue improving. Our room was nice and clean. I would compare the room to a Hampton or Comfort Inn. Though right now if offered at a comparable price would probably pick the Hampton and free breakfast unless the indoor pool area is important for you.

The common area still needs improvement and in fact it appears this area is in the process of repairs, renovations. Mini golf course inside that is really run down and worthless. 2 ping pong tables but beat up paddles and only one ball between them when we were there. This hotel is being renovated and is getting better, though it still needs work. In the same central area was an indoor pool and hot tub which looked good. However, we didn't swim and I found it odd that at 9:00 pm at night when we walked through there was nobody swimming or in hot tub (open until 10:00pm.) We were there for the KState Texas football game so they were supposedly booked solid.

We had stayed 4 months previous for a baseball tourney in July and it is improving. We probably wouldn't have come back but it was the only hotel left for the day we needed. Lobby looks much better. Noted they added a rest/bar Paddy O'Quigleys which we didn't go to but we have one in Overland Park that's great -burgers, sandwiches, etc and a woman leaving the place told me the food was really good.

No free breakfast but they did offer a breakfast buffet for a charge. Didn't eat there so can't comment on that.

One disturbing area was that the rooms not secure. We were given a card for entry into the building but found the outside door was always open and wouldn't lock. Easy to get into the hotel without any security we walked right up to our third floor room. I wasn't as concerned with this being in a small town but some might want to know.

I'm guessing this hotel will continue to improve over the months.
