We lived at this hotel while the power was out at our house for 10 days following a severe ice storm. Hotel rooms were at a premium with waiting lists hundreds long, and yet we were charged a very reasonable $79 per night for weeknights and $99 for weekends, and our doggie was allowed to join us.
Renovations continued throughout our stay but the workers were very sensitive to guests. The staff was great and service was excellent. I am sure they had staff working overtime and yet they were cheerful and helpful at all times.
Our kids had a great time with the pool, ping pong and miniture golf. I enjoyed the comfy beds and wi-fi.
The food at Paddy O'Quigleys is good and comparable in price to Chili's or Applebees.
I think the Clarion is going to be one of the best hotels in town once they get done and I hope many will give them a second chance. A special thank you to the hotel management who persevered doing those very stressful days following the storm.
I will also recommend this hotel.
