I have a KU freshman daughter. We have stayed at this hotel three times in the past year and have not one complaint. The hotel is new, clean, and spacious. It offers all the right amenities from in-room internet, microwave/refrigerators, continental breakfast. The hotel is across the drive from the theater and walking/bike path. Dining facilities are abundant. We have stayed at two other lawrence hotels because this one books early and fast. This is our first choice hands down.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend, and we were really impressed. Everything about our stay was great. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Everytime we walked in and out of the hotel, the staff greeted us and were very friendly. And the continental breakfast was outstanding! Lots of choices. We were in town for a KU basketball game and we will definitely stay there again the next time we're in Lawrence. The movies right next door are an added bonus!

The Holiday Inn Express is great. My parents stayed there when they came to visit and loved it. The staff is so nice and the room was very clean and comfortable. They really loved the breakfast and internet.
They will definitely stay there next time they are in town.

This hotel is wonderful. I have never stayed anywhere that was as nice and CLEAN as this property. The staff, (everyone from the front desk to the maintanance man) were extremely helpful and friendly. I can't think of a time that we passed an employee without them speaking to us. It was wonderful. My family and I will always stay here when we are in Lawrence.
