I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times in the last 2 years, as I travel for business purposes. Each time I stay it seems that the service and ammenities decline a little bit more. If you use wireless internet access, especially with a mobil device such as an itouch, this is not the hotel for you. If you are on an upper floor, or at an end of the hotel good luck getting connected.

I guess the dissapointing part is, the last time I stayed here I had the same problem. When I did I called the desk and asked to be put in a different room. The gentleman at the desk got me in a better room and was able to instantly pick up the signal. While he was getting me transffed to the new room another guest overheard our conversation and stated his company makes him stay at that hotel, and he has the same problem and is fed up with it. The gentleman behind the counter informed us that they were aware they have this problem, but the hotel general manager didn't want to spend the money it would take to put more ports in on the different floors to fix the problem. He stated he had personally had this conversation with the GM and had even offered to complete the labor for the hotel to do this, but the GM declined to attempt to fix the problem.

I'm actually typing this review from their lobby, because this is the only olace I can get the wireless connection. Your probably asking....why did he saty there again? I decided to give them another chance, but unfortunately the problem has not been resolved. I've already attempted to contact the Hampton Inn, and unfrotunately they are completely booked for tonight. Otherwise I would be checking out and moving to that hotel.

I have stayed at Holiday Inn hotels for years. I have had a platinum statis for the past 5 years as well. It's rare that I find a Holiday Inn hotel that is run down. My room had furniture missing, a broken coffee pot, tiles falling off in the bathroom. The shower had mildew in the corners. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room either. I could only get Luke warm water in the shower even after running it for 5 minutes. Very disappointing!

First visit to the Hutchinson KS Holiday Inn Express: a 4-day weekend for a family wedding. Found all staff to be friendly and accommodating, attending to our needs and the special requests of the bride for her out-of-town guests. Breakfast variety, all-day coffee/tea and evening chocolate-chip cookies made casual gatherings with refreshments easy and inviting. The beds were great and the rooms were clean and comfortable, but the free Wi-Fi was weak.

Staff is so much better than before! I enjoyed a nice bed. Not many hotels have as good of beds as this Holiday Inn Express. Check in and check out are smooth, for the most part. Breakfast is what I expected. (Holiday Inn Express needs to update their offerings to all hotels). Night staff took care of excess noise at 3 AM very well! I will use this hotel again along my travels.
