We arrived here at 9:00 p.m. after driving all day in the 100-degree heat with our two young kids. We had stayed here a couple years before and found it to be a decent budget motel, so we decided to stay here again. After arriving, we turned on the air conditioner immediately. After we unpacked and got settled in, we discovered the air conditioner was not working. Apparently the motel staff knew about this problem and told us it would work better if we turned it on low (?!) Despite all common sense, we tried this, to no avail. To the staff's credit, they apologized and quickly brought us a fan upon request and also offered to let us move to another room. (At 10:30 in our pajamas? No.) The fan finally cooled the room off enough for us to fall asleep around 11:30. Other comments: the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked, but the pool was decent. I think I'm finally old enough now (34) to appreciate paying a few extra bucks to get a nice, reliable place rather than trying to save a buck and end up with who knows what.

My wife and I were traveling on I-70, and chose this hotel as a stop-over because it was the cheapest hotel we felt we could trust. We don't expect much from Econo Lodges, but we have never had a really bad experience with them. We arrived at midnight and left at 6:30 am. My wife refused to shower at the hotel because of the extreme mold growth and random hairs in the shower. We decided to turn off the lights and sleep before we noticed anything else. The continental breakfast consisted of high quality bagels and doughnuts, with orange juice and coffee, so that was a pleasant surprise. Overall, not bad if you're just passing through. Not recommended for extended stays.

This is the Econo Lodge that made me decide never to stay in an Econo Lodge again. The place was filthy. The floors were soiled and didn't appear to have been vacuumed in many days (maybe weeks). The sheets and/or beds smelled moldy. The matresses were completely shot. The worst Motel 6 I've ever stayed in was vastly preferable to this place.
