This hotel was a pretty old hotel, but fairly well kept up. Room was clean, but a little dated. Hotel allowed pets for a $15 each surcharge. If you have pets and can stay at a less than first class hotel, this one is ok. There really isn't much available in Hays Ks when it comes to hotels that allow pets. This is to bad since a lot of travelers take their small pets.

Arriving on a 109 degree day crossing Kansas by I-70 we'd opted for a "Choice Hotel Rewards Night" and couldn't have been more pleased with the results! Great experience. (When using the hard won "points" - a reward is hoped for and in no way did this fall short. Desk clerk was bright, good natured and gave good tips on what to order plus the hotel's 10%discount for dinner at Whiskey Creek Restaurant just down the road;nice pool and hot tub - delightfully not HOT- sparkling clean and refreshing. The size and layout of room was similar to a large suite in a much more expensive lodging. Fridge and microwave; desk; divided bathroom and nice lamps all around the large room.

Small, clean, older, motel. Very comfortable beds. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner was very loud.

Stayed in a king suite. It's an older property, but overall clean. Not all of the electrical outlets in the room worked and in order to turn on the light by the bed I had to have the main light turned on by the front door. A small inconvenience. Parking is limited and not laid out very well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good place for an overnight stay...but there are better options in Hays for extended visits.
