“Worth the time to see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

We found the fort to be interesting and informative. You are given a tour through the Officers Quarters which was neat to see how they lived back then and were impressed with the living conditions for that time frame. It took us an hour to roam around the grounds visiting the different buildings to include the gift shop and brief movie. It cost $5 for each adult and $1 for our child.

“Great display of history”

Nice people. Interactive displays and you could dress up in an army costume.

“Probably better if there was an event going on.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2012

The cost of admission had gone up from the cost noted on the website. Was really not much there. The staff was nice and the exhibits were OK but really nothing great.

“Worth a stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2012

The visiting hours were over, so we gave ourselves a self-guided tour. There are plaques all along the sidewalk explaining what the buildings are or what used to be there. It's too bad that more of it couldn't have been preserved because at one time it covered a huge area. What a lonely place it must have been for all of those soldiers.
