“Wonderful Place to Relax and Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

My mother and I recently stayed at the Boot Hill B&B, and I thought it was just a great place to stay. Kurt was very informative about the area, and Enid is a lovely cook. Breakfast was well worth the stay alone. The rooms are decorated in a very tasteful and stylish Victorian setting, and our room was super clean. The beds were very comfortable, which is usually a deal breaker for me. If you are thinking about staying over at Dodge City for the night, I would highly recommend this place! The rates are comparable to local hotels, and the breakfast is way better than what you would find at a local restaurant. It is literally right across the street from Dodge City and the attractions.

While I sometimes stay at chain hotels, I rather stay and B&B's and dine at local diners and cafes. In my opinion, they are more comfortable, offer quality service, and often have their own unique charm about them. Small establishments and local businesses are what make America so great, and they offer a local feel that you just can't get at the bigger places. I would highly recommend this place! It is well worth the money :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boot Hill Bed & Breakfast. Kurt and Enid are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were amazing. We enjoyed the little excursion that Kurt suggested. We visited the Dalton Gang Hideout and the Big Basin Prairie Preserve then spend the rest of our day at the Boot Hill Museum and Front Street. The trolley tour was nice too. One of the most comfortable beds we slept in our entire trip. I would highly recommend Boot Hill Bed & Breakfast.

This is a great place to stay. We traveled many places in the US and I think this was the best placed we stayed. Enid and Kurt were wonderful. They made our stay a very friendly, welcoming. The breakfast was awesome. I recommend this to anyone staying in Dodge City, Kansas.

Room Tip: Matt Dillion room was wonderful.

Only spent one night while traveling between Denver and Tulsa-wish I could have stayed longer. Enid and Kurt are the best and you will not find a better breakfast in town. Location is great and get to Dodge in time for the chuckwagon dinner, gunfight and variety show-very entertaining and not expensive! I stayed in the Annie Oakley room and it was very clean, the bed was perfect and the homemade cookies were gone quickly. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful b&b in Dodge City, KS in an excellent location. Right accross the street from the Boot Hill Museum. Enid & Kurt were wonderful hosts and Enid is a great cook. The breakfasts were outstanding. The Matt Dillon room was very clean and a great place to return to after a long day of sightseeing. Loved the jucuzzi tub! I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Could they do any more for you? Kurt and Enid were so great not only looking after us in house but recommendations (like a local would use) for eats etc....not only that but when we had a really difficult time getting back form the casino on the edge of two Kurt actually drove up and collected us in his car !!! Im sure he doesn't want to be a cab driver but I can't tell you how much we appreciated it.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, Enid's home made everything including jams were great...plus Sheriff Charlie called by to chat with us of breakfast, he's a fabulous old timer, very interesting stories about the city, what a great man.

Dodge its self is a sleepy little place, not much going on but i still enjoyed strolling the streets of the little town and the museum was more fun than it looked....Sure its no Disney but its as fun as you let it be....go like your a 10 years old again, climb the old wagons and its much much better ;O)

Thanks Kurt and Enid for making our stay in Dodge so great....we have many great memories.
