My mother and I recently stayed at the Boot Hill B&B, and I thought it was just a great place to stay. Kurt was very informative about the area, and Enid is a lovely cook. Breakfast was well worth the stay alone. The rooms are decorated in a very tasteful and stylish Victorian setting, and our room was super clean. The beds were very comfortable, which is usually a deal breaker for me. If you are thinking about staying over at Dodge City for the night, I would highly recommend this place! The rates are comparable to local hotels, and the breakfast is way better than what you would find at a local restaurant. It is literally right across the street from Dodge City and the attractions.
While I sometimes stay at chain hotels, I rather stay and B&B's and dine at local diners and cafes. In my opinion, they are more comfortable, offer quality service, and often have their own unique charm about them. Small establishments and local businesses are what make America so great, and they offer a local feel that you just can't get at the bigger places. I would highly recommend this place! It is well worth the money :)
