We went to spend a week with two other families 8 small children ( ages 3-6) and we had a terrific time. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, even with all these kids! The bedrooms are very well equipped, bathrooms are large and luxurious. The public spaces (living rooms, kitchen, pool terrace etc) are well planned and great for both socializing and quite relaxation. The location in Anguilla is great - we were able to visit many of the beaches easily and it was a great plan for both parents and children. And when we stayed in the house, the views are spectacular, from the terrace and the infinity pool, as well as from the bedrooms. The private beach is a great amenity as you can stay home and still enjoy a bit of snorkling, or castle building in the sand. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

We stayed at Kamique Villas for our second consecutive year and it is truly an incredible place to relax and enjoy yourself in pure Caribbean luxury. The friendly staff met us at the ferry, and from then on catered to our every need. When you arrive at the villa you are immediately struck by the breathtaking panoramic views from every room. The decor is modern and tasteful and the bedrooms are more spacious than most luxury hotels with high quality bedding and an optional outdoor shower adjacent to living quarters. The kitchen and common areas are open with lots of great places to relax on a couch to read a book or enjoy the sunshine. Plus, you have your own private beach area to enjoy with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The media room was a nice touch for our kids to play and watch their favorite videos at night. The daily housekeeping staff keeps the villa absolutely spotless which is an impressive feat for having 4 kids staying there.

We went to Kamique with two other families and their children and everyone has a great time. There is so much room -- so each family was able to have their own privacy and then enjoy the common areas together to swim, sunbathe and have fun group lunches. Our kids loved to walk down to the private beach to play in the sand each morning. The staff pre-packed the refrigerator with our list of groceries, and also arranged everything for us including -- dinner reservations, recommendations for daily beach excursions, in-house massages and babysitters for the parents to go out by themselves a few nights. The central location makes it very convenient to access all of the amazing white-sand Anguilla beaches. We ate at the best restaurants (Barrell Stay, Veya, Straw Hat) cooked ourselves some nights and also arranged to have a chef come to the villa to cook a wonderful dinner for us (grilled fish, fresh salads, pasta) which we enjoyed so much that we did it again our final night on the island.

Having travelled to just about every island in the Caribbean (and staying at what many consider the top hotels), Kamique is such a uniquely pleasant experience -- that will keep us coming back.

I stayed at Kamique only for a few days, because I had made other arrangements from back home . But I truly regret the too short stay. I arrived to Anguilla after a long trip from Europe and was met with a place with the most fantastic sea view and had a great look to St.Maarten. It was almost mediative. The house was luxurious in every way. But the best part is that its so private. You can choose between the infinity pool or the very private beach. Or the outdoor shower wich was so great after a swim in the pool. I sure hope to go back for a longer stay already this summer. But I sure will recommend it.

We went with our four kids and two other families to Kamique. It was the most relaxing and beautiful vacation. There is a special energy in the way the villas are built. The view, the air, the visuals, the furniture....one feels in Bali. We love to cook and the kitchen is fabulous. When we didn't feel like cooking, we had someone cook and we could all gather in the kitchen and open dining room! There is a great flow in the house and the combination of having part of the house indoors and partly outdoors, make the experience very special. We loved the outdoor showers, the walk to the private beach and the lounging and relaxing. We took great day trips to different beaches and restaurants and at night either cooked or went out to the most incredible places to have dinner. We chose places that were very low key but delicious food. The service at the villas was great...from the food shopping before we arrived to cleaning, car rental and more. The houses are fully stocked and there was nothing missing. The staff made is very easy to enjoy and relax! We were able to easily make reservations, book day trips by boat and we felt as we had a full time staff working just for us. The private beach is so cozy and the infinity pool too much fun. We didn't want to leave the villa and the only reason we did, is because we only stayed for 6 days!! We can't wait to go there again, it was one of the most memorable vacations we have ever taken.

We have taken a lot of family vacations and romantic getaways to incredible destinations at incredible hotels or exclusive villas and this was absolutely the best! The villas are immaculate and the design is modern, lending itself to ultimate relaxation. These are new and incredibly designed villas with every modern convenience from ipods to wifi to flatscreens, your own huge private pool, a hi end italian designer kitchen, an indoor/outdoor living room, free international calling, and a professional staff available 24/7 to cater to your every whim. The outdoor bathrooms were incredible as was waking up to a direct unobstructed view of the ocean and beach. The sheets and beds were some of the most comfortable of beds we've slept in. Our kids loved the study with the fully stocked videos and Wii games and that the beach was just outside the villa! The concierge service stocked our fridge in advance with everything we asked for and made us day plans and evening reservations wherever we wanted. My only regret was that we didnt have the chance to stay longer! We will absolutely go back and recommend this vacation to anyone who desires the ultimate villa experience on an incredible island.

In January my fiancé and I stayed at Kamique Villa in Anguilla for 8 days with 4 of our good friends. We have previously been to Anguilla staying in other villas and discovered the new Kamique Villa during our research for this yeas vacation. Let me tell you: The villa and the location was FANTASTIC!

We arrived late afternoon after standing in line in customs at Blowing Point for ages (the authorities only had a single officer engaged to check 50-100 arriving passenger bags!?!). Tired and warm we finally made it through and was greeted outside by a sweet young hostess Avonelle who took us straight to the villa. As if Avonelle had read our thoughts we were greeted with chilled moist face towels and a well made ice cold rum punch.

What strikes you the most as you walk in to the villa is THE VIEW! You are on the water and have an unobstructed panorama view looking south at a deep blue Caribbean ocean and St. Martin and St. Baths in the horizon. After the rum punch we were taken to our rooms. Our villa had 5 bedrooms + a bedroom for the nanny/kids. The rooms are beautifully designed and super-modern yet tropical and cozy. We had the master bedroom to the left as you walk in, and were blessed with the same panorama view of the ocean and the islands in the distance. The wall facing the ocean is sliding glass doors, so you can literally “remove the whole wall” facing the ocean and let the breeze in (we only used AC at night). The bathroom is fab with his and her sink and beautiful travertine stonework and an extra outdoor shower. I’m am usually light sleeper and really enjoyed the fact that the mattress and pillows were of the very best quality.

We had a quick evening swim on our private beach (nobody but us there!!!) before heading out for dinner, everybody happy to have arrived at this little paradise spot!

The next morning a professional spa-lady came by and gave us each an hour’s Swedish/deep tissue massage on a little wooden deck right by the water’s edge…. I was in heaven…. And so by the end of day 2 we were all truly on “Caribbean time” – New York’s hectic life a million miles away…

As the week passed we toured the island (Avonelle had arranged rental cars for us) and visited many of the other beaches. Our favorites are Meads Bay, Shoal Bay East (park at Gwens Reggae Grill, there are less people there on the beach), Shoal Bay West (have lunch at the Italian restaurant Tratoria and snooze on their beach chairs after) and Rendezvous Bay (Bankie Banx new lunch-chef is gooood). When the wind is in South, try Long Bay Beach on the North side. It’s completely deserted and stunningly beautiful, but no one seem to know about it or how to get there. Park at “Oliver’s” restaurant and use their stairs to get down to the beach…..

Favorite restaurants: Tratoria, Veya, Barrel Stay, Mango’s, Hibernia. For a good night out with live music visit Pump House or The Dune.

We cooked a few nights ourselves in the villa. The kitchen is fantastic and comes with the best ocean view I have ever seen! One evening Avonelle arranged for a private-chef to come BBQ for us on the deck by the pool. It was great and worth the money. Throughout the week the housekeepers kept the villa spotless. They were always kind and helpful. Our hostess was a sweetheart and attended to all our wishes promptly and professionally.

Oooooh Anguilla, we miss you. We travel a fair amount and are familiar with the comfort of high-end resorts in Asia and Europe - next year however we will without a doubt book Kamique Villa again. It’s in a league on its own!
