This was an absolutely horrible stay. First of all The Grand Hotel, is not a Hotel. It is a Motel, when you exit your room you are standing outside, that by definition is a MOTEL, not a HOTEL. The owner/management is extremely rude and unaccomidating, however, much of his staff is helpful. We had a rather large outing and our group took up most of the MOTEL. The management was unprepared for the amount of people. Many reservation were lost (ours), some people received the wrong size room and we were told that rollaways were available when they were not. Although our room was clean the bathroom door wouldn't shut right and when our children would get inside it they couldn't get it open without an adult knocking it in with our shoulder. We had to argue with the owner to get towels for the children to use at the pool. The tiles in the bottom of the pool were coming up and cutting the childrens feet and the pool benches were falling apart and had nails sticking out of them. I had asked housekeeping to to enter my room, but while we were out for the day they did come in. Overall the experience was horrible and I hope I can save anyone else the experience.
