Very comfortable but breakfast is very bare. Toilets although seems renovated but still very basic. Do book a Deluxe room. There is a big difference. Even the TV and the various channels are different, not to mention that the view of the mountain from the patio is better from a Deluxe room. Another queer thing is when you check in, they will give you the tv remote control and you are suppose to return it back when you check out.

The resort is beautiful and well kept. The view of mt kinabalu was outstanding. Booked 2 rooms at block B. The shared balcony was perfect for family vacation. Should have stayed more than 1 night here

This my first trip and friends recommended this hotel. The hotel is surrounded by pine trees. The room have basic facitlities which is good enough for me. It might be nicer if they can provide more choices for breakfast.
The platform overlooking the mountain provides the perfect spot for photo shoot. On clear days, you can see even the mountain top. They have playground, barbecue place and even rabbit house for small children to play.

Room Tip: Choose room further from the cafe/reception to avoid the kitchen vent (smell).

This is my 4th time visit to Kinabalu Pine Resort, Kundasang. Had an overnight stay on 08-03-2013. Kinabalu Pine Resort never disappoint me whenever i came here. The service is good. I can't find any fault at all. Staffs are very friendly. If any area need to be improve, i will say the food. At least give a bit more choices.

Room Tip: Rooms on the Upper Hill is a Bonus. You can see all the valley scenery which is beautiful, awesome a...

The room was simple and clean. Bathroom looks new, I guess. The blanket is standard but for the cold weather, it is advisable to wear socks to keep you warm. The balcony is huge, but BBQ is probihited near the chalet (they have special place for BBQ down the hill). Just under Rm200/night for a king-sized bed, the rate includes breakfast for 2 AND dinner for 2. I mean, where can you find such great deal? Me and my husband had lunch, dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food are all good, no waste. Before the sunset we decided to make our fast noodle soup in our room to keep us warm so we borrowed some bowls, fork and spoons from the restaurant without any charge. We parked our rent car at nearby parking space which is located just at the back of the chalet so it is just few seconds walk to reach the room. The resort itself is hilly, nicely planted with beautiful pine trees all over, colorful flowers and magnificent scenery of Mount Kinabalu, it is so romantic and perfect for honeymoon. Receptionists are friendly and always give us a smile. I would definitely stay there again

We stayed one night in this place last week and I would not have stayed there any more, no matter what. Standard rooms are horrible. High windows lack glasses which makes them very cold and noisy. If you do not want to share your bed cover with your partner, they charge you 10 ringits for another one. Towels are so worn that threads are hanging from them and they are permanently stained.
But most horrible experience was the restaurant, where by the way, alcohol is strictly forbidden. The food at dinner was so tasteless that you hardly know what you are eating. Tables are so close to each other that you have to sit your belly touching the table. Place smells horrible also. If I had had a choice, I would have never gone there. Breakfast was also really terrible and chinese guests emptied all the trays when they were brought to table. You have to watch for your toast or they are taken too.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!
