We live in Omaha and decided to take overnight trip with some friends to Sloan and have some "fun" at the Winnevegas casino.
Well the slots were ok, some took your money right away some let you play for a while. Same as any other casino. We decided to mix it up a bit and all 4 of us decided to play BINGO. The money would last a bit longer. They had the electronic machine that picks the numbers for you. So all you really had to do was watch the screen and the machine would beep when any of your cards got one number away from hitting BINGO. This machine costs 40 bucks so we went in 20 bucks a couple and would split the winnings (even though they say you cant do that....blah blah blah) so we hit a BINGO, Sweet!! It paid us 125 bucks and we split that.
Well apparently they really don't like you to win BINGO twice (unless you are Native American) because we hit BINGO again and yelled BINGO!!!! At the time we hit the bingo, someone else did to. Of course we yelled it first EVERYONE AROUND US HEARD US CLEARLY. They went and verified the other guys numbers and we thought they were coming to our table next. After they verified the other guys numbers the caller says "anymore bingos" and we said yes, VERY LOUDLY and she said "all games closed" when everyone heard us and so did the caller.
We went and complained and of course they said there is nothing they can do, since the game was closed. My husband said review the tape and they would not.
Alot of people came to us afterwards and said that was crap and many even said it happened to them (funny how NONE of them were Native American).
I really think if someone was to hit it big on one of their slot machines, and they are NOT native american, they will not pay you. I really think they favor Native Americans over others, which its pretty funny since most of the people there were NOT Native Americans.
We will NOT go back. They do RIP you off, if you want to gamble, I would recommend staying with the Commerical Casinos (since they cannot get away with ripping you off like the Indian Casinos can).
